Hi Brett and Theresa,
You used to each have a down jacket on your list — I need a good one for late fall/winter hiking.

at 5.7 oz, i can’t recommend the Montbell Ex Light enough. I used this on our Wonderland Trip and it was awesome: http://www.montbell.us/products/disp.php?cat_id=70&p_id=2301344
