Gearing up for the Wonderland Trail
Our Wonderland Trail permit is just 2 weeks away… time to start thinking about gear updates and food/menu planning…
Just looking at the trail elevation profile here.
~100 miles of lovely ups and downs
Hopefully this year will be make it onto the trail, unlike last years attempt.

Brett: I just completed my 11th trek around the Wonderland Trail on Sunday. I went counterclockwise from Sunrise in 7 nights and 8 days. I was perhaps the best year for flowers I have ever seen (or smelled)!
Have a great hike! (My feet have not even fully recovered but I’m already eager to head out again!)

Hey Brett, good luck on the Wonderland Trail! I have been wanting to do that for sometime now. Your site is a favorite of mine for ultralite tips and suggestions on backpacking. My tip to you is to check out Bugaboo Glacier (and Conrad KAin Hut), and Berg Lake Trail for possible future treks. I have done both and loved them!
